Situation

Prior to the pandemic, a major employee-owned construction company had traditionally held annual, in person meetings in six regions to commemorate shareholders. With the onset of COVID-19, the safety concerns posed challenges to organizing these gatherings. Despite this, the company remained committed to expressing gratitude to its shareholders.

Dream

MyBrand dreamed up a way to remotely honor over 3,600 individual shareholders through the design of an online portal with a curated assortment of merchandise that was specifically chosen to appeal to the demographic of the shareholders. 

Innovative Solution

MyBrand developed a full service online store providing each shareholder the opportunity to shop and personally select their gift from a variety of hard goods and apparel. After they selected their gift, goods were procured, decorated and fulfilled for a seamless delivery. 

Results

The outcome was a meaningful experience for shareholders who could select and receive their gift without leaving the comfort of their home. The client was immensely pleased with the result of the program leading them to adopt this remote celebration for four years now with plans to continue.
